UNAC/UHCP is committed to helping improve our communities through community service. Our union has a long history of volunteerism—gifts of our labor and professionalism, in direct care, education and money for those in need. See below for some of our latest community service work.

There was an incredible outpouring of service to the community by UNAC/UHCP members during Nurses Week this year—gifts of our labor and professionalism for those in need. In addition, several groups honored UNAC/UHCP for our contributions to health care and service to the community.

Kaiser South Bay and Ontario-Vineyard UNAC/UHCP members were proud to participate in the 24th annual Letter Carriers’ Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive. The volunteer effort was organized by the LA County Federation of Labor and is seeking to set a Guinness World Record for “The Largest Food Drive within 24 Hours at a Single Location.”
