UNAC/UHCP is committed to helping improve our communities through community service. Our union has a long history of volunteerism—gifts of our labor and professionalism, in direct care, education and money for those in need. See below for some of our latest community service work.

St. Francis RNs Take Part in National Night Out in Lynwood

On August 2, 2016, RNs from St. Francis Registered Nurses Association (SFRNA) participated in the annual National Night Out event in Lynwood with the Sheriff's Department. Members provided health screenings to the community as part of an effort to strengthen relationships between community members and law enforcement.

Helping Homeless Families for Independence Weekend

Close to 100 people teamed up today—members and officers of UNAC/UHCP affiliate KPRNA along with community activists from LA Family Housing—to help homeless families and celebrate the Fourth of July holiday, with a BBQ, games, raffle and prizes to kick off the holiday weekend.
