UNAC/UHCP is committed to helping improve our communities through community service. Our union has a long history of volunteerism—gifts of our labor and professionalism, in direct care, education and money for those in need. See below for some of our latest community service work.

KBPRNA Members Show Our Heroes They Are Not Alone

As part of the mission to lift the spirits and meet the evolving needs of first responder, active duty, and veteran communities and to express our appreciation for these heroes, Kaiser Baldwin Park Registered Nurses Association (KBPRNA) collected donations for Operation Gratitude.

Holiday Delivery for Families Affected by Domestic Violence

UNAC/UHCP made a special holiday delivery to House of Ruth on December 20. Thank you to all who participated in this year’s drive! This was a tremendous outpouring of support for families in need.

KSDHCPA Members Come Together for Haitian Earthquake Survivors

This year, KSDHCPA members donated food to Haitian earthquake survivors who are now living here in the US and in Tijuana, Mexico. These efforts will continue into 2017, when members plan on going down to Tijuana to assist Haitian refugees.

The Specialty Care Nurses of Southern California (SCNSC) held a toy drive this 2016 holiday season to benefit House of Ruth, an organization dedicated to assisting families victimized by domestic violence.

UNAC/UHCP Celebrates 2016 Scholarship Recipients

UNAC/UHCP celebrated 30 new scholarship recipients in early October at the UNAC/UHCP scholarship banquet held during the 2016 UNAC/UHCP convention. Local recipients were celebrated for their academic and professional accomplishments.

3rd Annual SFRNA Back to School Supply Drive

St. Francis Registered Nurses Association (SFRNA) members brought special back to school deliveries to Washington Elementary, Mark Twain Elementary, and Woodrow Wilson Elementary.
