UNAC/UHCP is committed to helping improve our communities through community service. Our union has a long history of volunteerism—gifts of our labor and professionalism, in direct care, education and money for those in need. See below for some of our latest community service work.

San Diego UNAC/UHCP Members March for Babies

UNAC/UHCP members from the San Diego area participated in the March of Dimes Foundation's March for Babies. This annual effort raises the funding needed to connect NICU babies with the critical treatments and care they receive to ensure the strongest start possible.

Homeless Women’s Outreach Coalition Launch Was a Huge Success

UNAC/UHCP formed a homeless women’s outreach coalition with Labor Community Services AFL CIO, United Way of Greater Los Angeles, Highly Favored: A Blessing to Others, and G.O.A.L. Advocacy Foundation to help make a difference in the lives of those who are among the most vulnerable members of society.

Stewards from Kaiser Riverside Health Care Professionals Association (KRHCPA), in partnership with Casa Blanca Home of Neighborly Service, kicked off their food drive at the combined Kaiser steward training on March 8.
