Homeless Women’s Outreach Coalition Hosts Mother’s Day Brunch

On May 13, we celebrated Nurses Week and Mother’s Day by hosting a brunch at Good Shepherd Shelter. We provided food, live music, donations, raffle prizes and entertainment for fifty women and their children.

To celebrate Nurses Week, UNAC/UHCP’s South Bay affiliate once again adopted the Wagner Post Office Branch to sort and load approximately 30,000 lbs. of canned and non-perishable food for the needy.
