Pharmacists Negotiations Update: April 24, 2015
April 2015
We’ve just concluded our first two negotiations sessions, April 22 and 23.
We began with training in the Interest-Based process which has been pioneered by UNAC/UHCP with the Coalition of Kaiser Permanente Unions, resulting in a series of strong contracts for UNAC/UHCP and its professional units. The training was provided by the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service.
This type of bargaining requires both sides to identify interests and work together to achieve solutions.
Now that negotiations have begun, it’s more important than ever that we continue to build our Contract Action Team (CAT) to keep information flowing between our membership and negotiations team. Learn more or sign up here.
Our next scheduled bargaining date, May 1st, has been cancelled so we will meet again at the UNAC/UHCP office in San Dimas on May 4th. Members are encouraged to attend and observe.
