Chino RN Bargaining Team Submits Patient Care & Economic Proposals

July 2012

Bargaining Update #6: July 27, 2012

To Our CVMC Colleagues:

Negotiations this past week were intense. We presented concrete examples of concerns regarding patient care and were surprised that the management team was not more receptive to our concerns. We were shocked that on day two of negotiations, management abruptly ended negotiations during a discussion on patient care. They expressed doubt about our professionalism and integrity.

We are proud of the proposals we presented. They are sound proposals that address concerns that have been expressed by our colleagues. We continue to be positive and respectful during this bargaining process.

We thank those RNs who attended bargaining and provided input.

Wage Increase

We also presented our economic proposals, including wage increases that range from 14.11% to 22.89% over 3 years.

How Would Our Wage Increase Proposal Affect You?

The team will be holding meetings next week to review these proposals and give all the nurses an opportunity to see how our wage proposal is structured and what the proposal means for you.
