Sharp RNs Deliver Ten Day Strike Notice

Sharp HealthCare’s registered nurses intend to strike beginning the Monday after Thanksgiving, November 28. The strike comes in response to Sharp’s repeated violations of federal labor law and refusal to address patient care problems caused by an escalating crisis in nurse turnover.

Sharp HealthCare RNs Vote to Strike

Sharp HealthCare registered nurses voted to authorize an unfair labor practice strike to protest Sharp’s unlawful implementation of its so-called last, best and final offer and other unfair labor practices. “We are willing to do whatever it takes to protect our patients, up to and including a strike,” said Nieysha White, RN, from Sharp Mary Birch.
