Your Contract at Work: HPAC Committee

Per our contract, our HPAC committee has been up and running, our committee meets monthly and we are committed to patient care issues.  This committee is attended by management and union members, your co-chairs are Debbie Finley from ER and Verna Delgado director of Maternal Services, if you have patient care issues, this could be a forum to address them. Currently we are focusing on the Pyxis and pharmacy issues related to Black Box medications and also a hospital project for room 106, where we can have good communication between OR patients and their Doctors and waiting family members. Look for a mention about our committee in the upcoming Valley Voice.
