Why Does the Pediatrics Unit at Corona Regional Medical Center Not Have Latex-Free Gloves?

March 2013

Corona RNs need proper supplies to provide quality care and to keep patients and RNs safe.

Pediatrics is the only unit in Corona that does not have latex-free gloves easily accessible in the unit at all times.

Why have Peds RNs had to:

Beg for gloves?
Search for gloves in other units?

The law requires the hospital to provide materials that are safe for staff or patients with allergies.*

RNs must have a voice to speak up for RN and patient safety at Corona Regional Medical Center.

This is why Corona RNs voted for our Union.
