Volunteer Medical Staff Needed

UNAC/UHCP is collaborating again with Camp Laurel to find Volunteer Medical Staff (LVN, RN, NP, PA or MD licensed in CA) for the organization’s upcoming Winter Family Camp program in Big Bear, scheduled from February 19-22, 2011.

Camp Laurel provides educational and support programs to children, youth and families affected by HIV/AIDS. Camp Laurel enables children living with HIV/AIDS to experience the magic and wonder of childhood without the stresses of their daily lives.

Medical volunteers are responsible for distributing medication and for the general health of campers and staff. Medical volunteers are welcome to participate in all camp activities, which include campfires, hiking, arts & crafts, cabin skits and more. Previous HIV/AIDS experience is not necessary.
