Corona RN and Bargaining Team Member, Cheryl Tolejano is back in the UHS-CRMC Emergency Room!
Victory for UHS-CRMC Nurses!
ER Registered Nurse Cheryl Tolejano was reinstated to continue her patient advocacy work with our community.
In late October, we learned of Cheryl’s suspension from the ER. An initial investigatory suspension turned into an unforeseen termination.
UNAC/UHCP is currently bargaining the very first union contract and because management had to bargain with the Union over Cheryl’s termination, we were able to negotiate her return. Being that Cheryl has been such a vital nurse in the ER, the Union and management used a collaborative effort to get her back to work.
Our union, UNAC/UHCP, met with CRMC management to negotiate Cheryl’s employment status. As a result, Cheryl was reinstated to her original position in the ER and will be back as our Bargaining Team Member and continue negotiating our union contract.

UHS-CRMC RNs will be kicking off the 2016 Negotiations with a Winter Social Mixer. All UHS-CRMC RNs and health care professionals from the surrounding areas will be invited to help us kick off 2016.
