UTSC and KSBHPA Members Celebrate the 45th Anniversary of Title IX Day

UNAC/UHCP members from United Therapists of Southern California (UTSC) and Kaiser South Bay Health Care Professionals Association (KSBHPA) joined Mayor Eric Garcetti at a girls sports clinic at the Getty House in honor of Title IX Day.
This year marks the 45th anniversary of Title IX, the landmark legislation that prohibits sex discrimination in education. Title IX has made a huge impact on athletics, protecting girls from discrimination in sports.
UNAC/UHCP registered nurses and physical therapists provided first aid, sunscreen, fun activities, and led girls through stretches. Thanks to UTSC and KSBHPA for making this annual event fun and safe for all participants!
