UNAC/UHCP 2015 Scholarship Program

More than 20 UNAC/UHCP members attended the first annual UNAC/UHCP Scholarship Application Review Day in the San Dimas office to review and score applications. Over 150 people applied for the Kathy Sackman Member Scholarship ($3,000), the Sonia Moseley Family Scholarship ($3,000) and the Delima MacDonald Community Scholarship ($2,000). Winners will be announced by March 15.

Kaiser San Diego RN Wins Four Years Back Pay

An arbitrator has found that Kaiser should not have terminated an employee for accessing electronic health records because his supervisor instructed him to do so. The nurse will receive reinstatement to his RN position and four years’ back pay, benefits and seniority credit in the case.
