UNAC/UHCP filed charges against UHS-Corona with the National Labor Relations Board after unfair labor practices were reported by our RN members. Violations included inappropriately closing the Pediatrics Department, inappropriately increasing usage of traveler nurses, resulting in cancellation of staff RNs, and terminations of RNs, all without bargaining with our Union. The National Labor Relations Board investigated and issued a formal complaint against UHS-Corona in February 2015.
After a long fight against UHS-Corona, our UNION, UNAC/UHCP, won a settlement for Corona RNs valued in excess of $200,000.00!
