Bright and early on Sunday, where they were turned away by security in favor of outside nurses brought in from out of state to staff during the strike.

Parkview RNs continue to press their patient care concerns with the public and in the hospital. A longtime Parkview RN wrote a letter to Parkview CEO Steve Popkin after seeing him spying on striking RNs and supporters from the hospital roof. The open letter was published as a full-page ad in the Sunday Riverside Press-Enterprise on July 20. You can still view it at unacuhcp.org/parkviewad.
