On May 30-31 your Kaiser South Bay Officers attended the Affiliate Officer's Conference (AAOC) 2012 in Pomona, CA. There we had the opportunity to highlight our success on member participation. The UNAC/UHCP web page notes “Kaiser South Bay attendance at recent General Membership Meetings is more than ten times what it had been in 2009.” Additionally, your treasurer Teresa Alcala, states “Everyone wanted to get more involved because of our contract.” As many of you already know our affiliate has set up two gmail addresses shared by officers and stewards where members can request representation or information and receive a response within 24 hours.
