Statement of UNAC/UHCP President on the Orlando Massacre

The United Nurses Associations of California/Union of Health Care Professionals (UNAC/UHCP) extends its deepest condolences to the victims of the horrific shooting that took place in Orlando early Sunday morning.

In the wake of the largest mass shooting in U.S. history, UNAC/UHCP will continue to stand against hate and bigotry, and uphold the human rights of the LGBTQ community.

We stand in solidarity with everyone affected by this senseless tragedy, including all health care personnel working to save lives and care for the injured.

Our deepest sympathies to the victims and their families.
