Stand with Beverly RNs on December 15

December 2011

Beverly RNs are in the fight of their lives. They voted to form a union with UNAC/UHCP to improve their working conditions and patient care last February, but management is stalling negotiations.

Major issues include:
• No raise in four years
• Mandatory overtime
• Escalating health care costs
• No retirement plan
• Being forced to clock out and work through breaks
• Unsafe floating assignments

With a candlelight vigil on December 15 we’ll shine a light on working conditions and patient care at Beverly Hospital. Sign up here.

The Beverly RNs are also sponsoring a food drive on December 15. For the food drive, bring non-perishable food items for families in need in the Beverly Hospital area.

Candlelight Vigil and Food Drive:
Thursday, December 15, 6:30 PM
Beverly Hospital
309 West Beverly Blvd.
