SPNN Partners with Surfrider Foundation for Healthy Beaches

UNAC UHCP Sharp Professional Nurses Network (SPNN) members powered through the post-holiday slump by partnering with the Surfrider Foundation San Diego County Chapter the morning of July 5. The Surfrider Foundation is a grassroots, environmental non-profit organization that's dedicated to the preservation of beaches and oceans nationwide.

SPNN participated in the organization's annual Morning After Mess event - an effort that relies on volunteer groups to assist with beach cleanups after the July 4th holiday weekend. Together, members picked up over 25 pounds of trash and debris from the Mission Beach area!
