SPNN Contract Campaign Kick-off Training Sessions Held in May

The first training sessions for this year’s contract negotiations were a huge success!  Registered Nurses throughout the Sharp facilities attended to discuss their experiences and give their input on what they would like to see at negotiations.

SPNN Officers, RNAC members and Contract Support Team (CST) members discussed SPNN history, the negotiation process and the importance of member involvement.  As of early July, more than 90 SPNN members have joined the CST. If you would like to represent your unit on the CST, please email us at SharpNurses@unacuhcp.org.

The trainings were the kickoff for the contract campaign for the upcoming negotiations.  All in attendance received 2011 bargaining surveys to distribute to SPNN members in their hospitals.  It is crucial for the negotiations team that we represent our members at the bargaining table.  Please be sure to complete your survey and return it to a CST or Bargaining Team member.
