SPNN Bargaining Update #7

HUNDREDS ATTEND SPNN BARGAINING!
IT'S STANDING ROOM ONLY AS SPNN PRESENTS OUR ECONOMIC PROPOSAL
Management was stunned when they walked into bargaining yesterday and were greeted by a sea of blue. Hundreds of SPNN members, UNAC/UHCP members, children and even a dog packed rows and rows of chairs and stood along the outer walls.
This is the wage proposal we presented:
20% in year one
6% in year two
6% in year three
We also proposed improvements to our retirement plan and retiree medical.

We expect management to present their counter to our economic proposal at the next negotiating session on Tuesday, August 30, so plan to be there in the hundreds once again!
That session will start at 1 pm.
Most negotiating sessions run from 10 am to 4 pm. Stop by any time, and bring a coworker. Child care will be provided.
