SPNN Bargaining Update #15
November 2016
Sharp Professional Nurses Network
NURSES UNITED FOR A BETTER SHARP
On November 18, Sharp management sent a letter to our Union offering to meet and bargain during Thanksgiving week.
Our Union has agreed to continue bargaining with management in an attempt to settle a contract without having to strike on November 28.
These next bargaining sessions will be limited to only the SPNN RN bargaining team and the management team.
While your RN bargaining team is at the table with management, nurses in the facilities should continue to support each other and be prepared to strike if negotiations fail to produce an agreement that is acceptable to our Union.
We are committed to doing everything we can to secure an acceptable contract and it is uncertain where we will end up by the end of next week. Stay strong and stay focused. All SPNN RNs need to be prepared to strike on November 28-30 if needed.
