SCNSC Delivers Dignity and Hygiene to Our Homeless Neighbors

Specialty Care Nurses of Southern California (SCNSC) partnered with Lava Mae, an organization that provides mobile showers for homeless individuals. Volunteers passed out toiletry packages, socks, toothbrush kits, and cold water to our homeless neighbors in Downtown Los Angeles on August 29.

This was made possible by SCNSC stewards' efforts to collect donations these past few weeks. It was a great day in the community delivering hygiene and this is the first of many outreach efforts to come. SCNSC officers and stewards plan on volunteering to help clean showers and distribute more essentials in the coming months.
