UNAC/UHCP Kaiser Bargaining Update #3

April 2012

This week our UNAC/UHCP bargaining team met in San Jose with Kaiser. No agreements were reached. Bargaining will resume on April 24-25-26 at the Pasadena Hilton, and again in May in Manhattan Beach. SIGN UP HERE TO ATTEND.

During this past week, the Union and management negotiating committee members discussed their interests and goals in the area of benefits, workforce health, the future of the workforce and the Labor-Management Partnership. We have some common interests, but we also have some interests that the parties do not share or agree upon.

At our next bargaining sessions, all the bargaining sub-groups will meet together in one room to attempt to reach agreements on the various issues that have been discussed. Click here to see the priorities of UNAC/UHCP members.

“With many issues still unresolved, everyone needs to come to bargaining to see what’s going on and be a part of the process. We need your support!"
--Danny Pollack, OD and National Bargaining Team member
