San Diego TV Hosts UNAC/UHCP

Univision San Diego invited UNAC/UHCP RNs Marilen Castanon and Rosa Carcamo, from SFRNA, to discuss likely impacts from the November 6 election on health care and patients in California, on the Tuesday, October 23 edition of their morning news show Despierta San Diego, while UNAC/UHCP was in town for our 40th Anniversary Convention.

Marilen and Rosa talked about the importance of defeating Prop 32, which could lead to the weakening of safe nurse-to-patient ratios in California hospitals if nurses lose our voice in Sacramento. And they discussed how Obamacare has increased access to health care and will save lives in California.
