President Clinton, Rep. Sanchez Rally in Santa Ana with United Nurses

Former President Bill Clinton joined Representative Loretta Sanchez, a host of other elected officials and candidates, and hundreds of local residents on Friday, October 15, 2010 at the Old County Courthouse in Santa Ana to urge Californians to vote in the upcoming election on November 2.

United Nurses Associations of California/Union of Health Care Professionals (UNAC/UHCP) State Secretary Barbara Blake, RN, and other UNAC/UHCP activists attended the rally meant to encourage voters to talk to their friends about this year’s critical issues.

“As nurses and health care professionals, it’s important we educate ourselves about the races and ballot propositions that will impact our private and professional lives – and then make sure our friends and colleagues do too. The decisions our elected officials make can have far reaching effects on our careers. We must carefully consider the facts, as President Clinton reminded us at the rally, and then make the best choice for our future,” said UNAC State Secretary Barbara Blake, RN.

After a thorough selection and review process, UNAC/UHCP will release endorsements and recommendations  for the November election.
