Our Union: Working for RNs at Sharp

Our contract protects us from unjust treatment.
Virginia Wright, a RN at Grossmont Hospital in the ACC Department was unjustly terminated by Sharp. Her union filed a grievance in order to protect her rights and ensure fair treatment.
The grievance forced hospital management to meet with us to show proof that the termination was justified. They failed to do so. Therefore, she was returned to her job with back pay for the wages lost.
We have fairness and a voice at work because of our union.
