National Agreement Ratified by UNAC/UHCP Members!

WE DID IT!

After weeks of local ratification votes throughout the Southern California region, the tentative National Agreement received an overwhelming YES vote from UNAC/UHCP members at Kaiser.

This vote successfully locked in better job security, improvements in health care, protections for pensions and retiree medical, a process to address violence and bullying in the workplace, and raises.

Congratulations to all our members who played an integral role in the negotiations process by showing up to bargaining sessions to support our bargaining team and the Coalition. This strong agreement would not have been possible without the strength and commitment of all those involved.

Once all Coalition unions finish up their ratification votes, the three year contract will go into effect on October 1, 2015.
