Local Steward Training Summer 2016

UNAC/UHCP has kicked off a summer of steward training by holding local steward trainings throughout Southern California. Find out which affiliates took part and what they learned below.

Stewards from Kaiser Downey, Sunset, and West LA joined forces on May 25 for a local steward training in the San Dimas state office. Fifteen new stewards were in attendance and the format allowed for valuable breakout sessions, including ‪#‎UStrong‬ training to build and strengthen our union.
Officers and new stewards of Fountain Valley Professional Association came together on June 8 for a steward training to go over practical methods to represent and mobilize members.
Stewards from Kaiser Baldwin Park and Orange County were in the San Dimas state office for local steward training in June. A strong steward structure makes sure our union is strong!
