Linda Hippolyte: A Tale Of Two Cities

Growing up, Linda Hippolyte walked the line between English and Creole. Born in Brooklyn to traditional parents, her home was a Haitian utopia. Hippolyte always wanted to be in the health care field. In 2003, she headed west to become an RN at Parkview hospital. A natural leader, she took the reigns as a UNAC/UHCP affiliate officer and played an integral role in the fight for improved patient care and safety. Now Hippolyte has joined the UNAC/UHCP state office as staff representative serving Sharp in San Diego.
