Lakewood Bargaining Highlights: June 4 & 5

Chemo RNs attended negotiations to lend their support by adding their voices at the table as the LRNA Bargaining Team continues to fight for safe, quality care for our chemo patients and all patients. (Suzette Alison and Lena Rangel are pictured at right with the team.)

Our Bargaining Team won protections for LRNA nurses against being floated or cancelled before non-bargaining unit nurses.

In solidarity with us, State UNAC/UHCP Officers Denise Duncan, RN, Executive VP and Jettie Deden-Castillo, NP, Treasurer attended bargaining at the LB Airport Marriott Wednesday morning to offer support to the LRNA team.

We continue to fight for a fair scheduling process and protection of our bargaining unit hours.
