KBPRNA Officers & Stewards Attend Training

August 2011

Kaiser Baldwin Park Registered Nurses Association's Officer,  Stewards and Reps attended the last UNAC/UHCP Kaiser Steward Training at the Pasadena Hilton Hotel on Wednesday, July 20, 2011.

Topics included:

- KP’s Financial Forecast/Strategic Plan
- History of the LMP
- The Future of Active and Post-Retirement Benefits
- Protecting Our Future through Partnership

We are now starting to get ready for the contract bargaining next year.  We encourage every member to participate in union activities, such as general membership meetings, steward training, basic labor training class, and surveys.

We would like to see more stewards attend the training to be involved and engaged. 

The next Steward Training will be held on August 25, 2011, at the San Dimas UNAC/UHCP State Office.
