Helping Homeless Families for Independence Weekend

Close to 100 people teamed up today—members and officers of UNAC/UHCP affiliate KPRNA along with community activists from LA Family Housing—to help homeless families and celebrate the Fourth of July holiday, with a BBQ, games, raffle and prizes to kick off the holiday weekend.

KPRNA members have been filling donation boxes for the past week, with family hygiene products like sunscreen, baby wipes, razors and tooth paste to help homeless families in transition.

We brought along a rock band, great food, donations and a spirit of celebration.
