UNAC/UHCP affiliates celebrated Nurses Week with many different events such as Nurses Week breakfasts, lunches and dinners, a Nurse Recognition Fair, a Nurse of the Year event, Membership Appreciation Breakfast and Dinner, and a Nurses Week Tea. In honor of Nurses Week, UNAC/UHCP made a $10,000 donation to the Los Angeles House of Ruth, serving homeless, battered women with children. This year, Kaiser West LA selected the charity.
