Governor Jerry Brown Releases State Budget

California Governor Jerry Brown has just released his budget proposal for the state of California. Barbara Blake, RN, UNAC/UHCP's State Secretary released the following statement in response.

"The governor's proposed cuts are very troubling and will negatively impact the quality of patient care for California's children and families. As a state, we need to decide on our budget priorities and fund them accordingly."

"After a thorough analysis of the governor's proposal, we will share our ideas on what we think the budget should look like with the governor and the legislature."
