Top 10 Nurses Deserve a Top 10 Contract!
The Garden Grove Registered Nurses Association (GGRNA) Negotiating team met on October 25 with Prime Healthcare again to negotiate our new contract. We are still being strongly supported by our members, who continue to attend in large numbers.
Although we conducted bargaining using sidebars rather than meeting at the bargaining table this session, we achieved several major gains.
Extra Holiday!
Memorial Day was added to the five holidays in our current contract.
Weekend Bonus Retained!
We were able to successfully bargain to retain the Weekend Bonus benefit.
Shift Differentials Retained!
Any GGRNA members currently receiving shift differentials as a percentage will be able to maintain that benefit.
We continue to work hard to complete our next contract and are committed to bargaining effectively with management on outstanding issues to successfully bring negotiations to a close.

Election Day - Tuesday, November 2
Our state and local politicians have a huge influence on our professional and personal lives. Don’t forget to vote.
Remember, if you cannot vote during normal off-duty hours, you are allowed up to two hours time off work with pay to vote in general elections either at the beginning or the end of your workday. Please notify your supervisor at least two working days in advance.
