Management's Wage Proposal: And Insult to Nurses?

With more than forty nurses attending, management made their wage proposal yesterday:

• 1.5% in the first year
• 2.0% in the second year
• 2.5% in the third year

Make sure you come to bargaining by 10 AM next time to let them know how you feel about that and to hear our own wage proposal.

SENIOR NURSES ATTACKED / BENEFITS PROTECTED

Senior nurses were targeted by a management proposal to cut their shift differential.

However, we protected a number of our benefits:

• Weekend bonus language
• Education benefits
• Reserve sick hours
