Fountain Valley Bargaining Update

At the last round of scheduled negotiations on 2/13 and 2/14, no agreements were reached. We presented our counter proposals on Article 5, Job Posting and Article 24, Work Stoppage.

Despite the limited time actually spent bargaining at the table, we made good use of the two days by continuing work on the economic proposals. We reviewed existing wage practices and discussed how to develop a wage proposal that recognizes RN and professional license experience.

In our next negotiations, we will be formulating our wage proposals. We ask that every unit/department send a delegation of nurses and professionals to work with us in developing these proposals.
