Float Policy Revisions

March 2011

The Float Policy has been reviewed and revised.

Key Revisions:

     - We established that travelers float first
     - The Charge Nurse on extra/overtime shift should float if needed

Key FYIs:

     - Efforts should be made not to give the floating nurse the first admission
     - UNAC still floats by rotation and not seniority
     - If you switched days with someone, you stay on your rotation
