Corona RNs Prepare to Bargain their First Contract

As many UNAC/UHCP members know, getting that first contract can be tough. Corona RNs are eager to take on the fight. They elected their Bargaining Team in August, after final certification of their union came in June from the National Labor Relations Board, which swept aside management’s final objections to once again affirm the nurses’ election to join UNAC/UHCP.

The Corona RNs have been setting up their Contract Action Team and filling out bargaining surveys, from which their Bargaining Team will develop proposals to tackle the patient care and other issues that led them to form their union. Wish them luck, and be ready to help out if they need us.
