Corona Management Proposes Takeaways for Corona RNs

Our RN negotiating team met with UHS Corona management on January 27, 28 & 29. Numerous proposals were exchanged.

Management proposed takeaways on holidays:

• Remove President’s Day as a paid holiday
• Diminish the hours paid to night shift nurses working on designated holidays

We will not accept this!!!

We reached a Tentative Agreement (TA) with management on one of the articles proposed, Probationary Registered Nurses, to ensure that nurses’ seniority date is established and codified in the contract.
