Chino RN Bargaining Team Calls for Federal Mediation

January 2013

Chino Bargaining Update: January 18, 2013

Today, negotiations broke down because management is refusing to give us a guaranteed wage increase. We are the lowest paid RNs in the entire Prime Healthcare system in Southern California.  Now, to add insult to injury, management has proposed to hire NEW RNs and pay them much more than we are paid.

This week, Chino RNs should have received in the mail a letter that detailed how much your hourly rate would increase if YOU were paid what management wants to pay NEW RNs.

Our RN Bargaining Team has called for intervention by a federal mediator into negotiations and management has agreed. There is no date set yet, but we will keep you informed.

In the meantime, please sign the protest petition that the RN Bargaining Team will circulate, and keep posted on your email. There will be more information coming.
