We presented a variety of economic proposals at our last bargaining session on March 12, 2015. Among the proposals that we made were increases to wages and a wage scale for full and part-time registered nurses.
We maintained our proposal to make significant improvements to our medical benefits and continue to pursue several enhancements to our working conditions and contractual standards.
By improving our standards, the hospital will attract and retain more registered nurses. This will improve patient care.
Management indicated they will be responding to these proposals at our next bargaining session on March 23. By coming to bargaining, you will have the opportunity to hear management’s response firsthand. All members are welcome to attend negotiations. Bargaining typically begins at 10:00 am and continues throughout the day.
