COMPENSATION ON THE TABLE
On January 15, we continued to make movement at the bargaining table that will lead to improved contractual standards.
Management presented their response to our economic proposals in the morning. While many considerable and important differences remain, our RN bargaining team was encouraged by several of the terms that were presented. We responded later in the day and countered with a comprehensive package proposal covering all currently open issues. Our proposal included floating, wages and benefits, among the multiple other issues that remain.
We will continue to fight to achieve a new contract that will result in improved recruitment and retention of RNs, and will ensure that quality patient care is delivered at Beverly.
