At our 10th bargaining session on January 11, our RN bargaining team reached tentative agreement on new technology language.
- RNs will be provided with required competencies before being required to utilize new technology.
- The language ensures that RNs work within the scope of their licenses.
- RNs may offer solutions through the Beverly Professional Practice Council (BPPC) and give input on changes being made.
With the advance of technology, our team of frontline professionals stressed the importance of improving care by getting input from those who do the work. The team was pleased with the progress made on this historic language to ensure that new technology enhances care.
This is a great step forward for patients at Beverly!
Bargaining resumes on Monday, January 15. All members are welcome to attend.
