Bargaining Update: March 30, 2012

The CNM and the WOCN Negotiation team continues to work hard to address the issues that will make a difference for all of you. Bargaining was for two days this week with management and several issues reached consensus.

• Corrective Action Process. This language creates a consistent fair process for an impartial investigation if accusations or complaints are made, so everyone is treated case by case based on the situation and circumstances of each individual.
• Alternative/Experimental Schedules. This language addresses the variations in scheduling in various departments and locations giving great diversity and autonomy. It offers multiple options and room for future new schedule types. This language also includes the option of job sharing as a possibility.

The team will meet again for negotiations on April 11 and April 12.
