Bargaining Update: April 6, 2012

April 2012

The CNM/WOCN negotiating team will meet with Management on April 16, 17 and 27. There still remains much to discuss before we reach agreement.

Some topics pending discussion are:
• Workload Problems: Managing the electronic in basket, lab, call backs, and safe patient load
• Backfill/Relief: For time off and to be able to attend educational conferences
• Schedule Issues: 24 hr shifts, productivity, flex schedules, cross coverage and weekend scheduling downtime

Further negotiation dates for May/June are pending and will be announced once scheduled.

The negotiation team is not meeting this next week, a correction from last week's announcement.
