CKPU Response to Our Action in Support of Anaheim RNs

The Coalition of Kaiser Permanente Unions responded to our recent action with the following message:

Thank you for alerting the Coalition of Kaiser Permanente Unions to the matter of RN shifts at the Anaheim Emergency Department. As a Coalition made up of 30 local unions representing KP staff, including UNAC/UHCP, we strongly agree that Partnership principles include an obligation for all parties to pursue interest-based problem solving in good faith. Unilaterally imposed changes in schedules and other working conditions are a clear breach of Partnership principles and process, and must be swiftly and decisively challenged.

Now that we've been made aware of this situation, please be assured we will work in support of your UNAC/UHCP leadership to reach a fair resolution that is consistent with the principles of Partnership and our Value Compass.
